Re: Migraines and lesser headaches
It seems very unfair that someone with such sound views should be afflicted with a terrible migraine.
I feel just the same way, that's why I'm moving to Scotland.

I'm considering it myself. Have you found a location you favour?

I'm fairly sure it will be one of the nicer suburbs of Glasgow. Milngavie, or there are some pleasant spots around Barrhead, and even Paisley has a posh bit.

You could find somewhere near a park in Paisley, and call the house 'Purple Rain'.

Re: Migraines and lesser headaches
I had just started driving to my storage units this morning when I realised I had a migraine. As soon as I arrived there, I was sick into a bin-liner.
Luckily I hadn't eaten any breakfast so nothing came up. And as always, I immediately felt better afterwards.

Re: Migraines and lesser headaches
At 3.30am today I realised I was getting a migraine, but I managed to head it off with sumatriptan. When that works, it allows me to skip the vom phase and go straight to the sleepy one.

I had another migraine today! That's unprecedented.
I was sick and everything. I didn't begin to feel better till midday.

Moving is very stressful, and the weather has been unsettled. It's probably just a one off. Or a two off.

Re: Migraines and lesser headaches
I realised that since April 24th I haven't had a single day off. Every day I've either been working, or sorting stuff out at my storage units.
Gotta go now, to sort stuff out at my storage units.

I've got a rotten hangover. I've had to take some of the extra-strong paracetamol+codeine that someone who gets them on prescription kindly gave me

Re: Migraines and lesser headaches
I had the most appalling migraine today, one of the worst I've ever had. I was sick 3 times. Even now, thinking about how ill I was makes me feel sick again.
Drinking too much seems to trigger them off very predictably these days.
And before anyone asks, yes I do know the difference between a migraine and a hangover. A hangover I just don't want any breakfast, and feel fine by lunchtime.
A migraine I can't cope with anything complicated, and have to sort of sit/lean up listening to audio dramas till it goes away. If I wake up at 5am with a migraine, it'll be lunchtime before I can even sip a soluble co-codamol. I won't even want a water biscuit till 4pm.
