The guy who someone once described as looking a magic marker drawing on the side of a balloon.
It reminded me of when Charlie Brooker described the Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry as looking like a haunted tree.

No.
It's more like one of those languid and louche Yello songs from about this time.

I can hear an oboe. They could have put that on Twist In My Sobriety!

I think I do too. They were both around in the news at the same time.

It is over.
It was a solid attempt at an album and probably worth a second listen at some point.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

Or when someone once described Gayle Tilsley as looking like a disappointed camel.

It kid of ran out of steam at the end - possibly because the songs weremoistly mostly quite long.

Re: Liza Minnelli - Results (1989)
Well, I think that is a thoroughly good album and it's no wonder the g*ys love it. Her theatrical voice works well with a contemporary production - and although that production is a bit dated it's all polished very well. My only minor downsides are the perhaps unneeded cover of Twist In My Sobriety and Love Pains is a bit.... standard.

I think it was Frank Skinner who described her as E.T. with hair.

As a human thing in itself (or "Dasein" as Heidegger would have it) it was certainly comfortable in its 'thrownness'.

I for one welcome and encourage this example of brazen commentary gerrymandering.
