Re: The Weather Thread Part 6.
In terms of overnight temperatures, it fell to something like -2.5 degrees in Scotland during one July in the 1970s, or something.

1978 I think:
https://www.trevorharley.com/weather-july.html wrote:1978 At 14.8C, the coldest July of the 70s. The first week was cool and very showery, with predominantly northwesterliy winds. At Manchester the temperature remained below 15C until the 9th. On the 5th, there was a maximum of only 10C in northern Scotland, and of only 12C in parts of England. It was often windy, too. There were 79 mm of rain at Glenmoire Lodge in the Cairngorms on the 3rd.

For the first time in ages, it's stopped raining.
And the sun is actually out!

It’s warm. Everyone’s happy, life has returned to the streets, the energy has lifted up. I achieved more this morning than I did in the whole of the previous week.

It was a nice day yesterday, the sun was sparkling on the blue water of Belfast Lough.

It is feeling distinctly summery today.
Expected to peak at 25 degrees today.
