Oh, right, what, trés exotique Thai-stylee fish sauce? If so, then yeah, it won't be toxic, but it'll probably be a bit wan and feeble. And, considering it's probably something you use, at most, every other year... _________________ Disprove the return of a potato (5)

Ground 'erbs are fine, but it's ground spices that go rubbish. Again, not toxic in any way at all, but spices (cumin, paprika, coriander, turmeric, chillies of various sorts (cayenne pepper eg) etc etc) don't go 'bad', they just absorb - over the years, in a steamy and sultry kitten - rankly compromising moistures and the like and go all brackish and flavourless and, ergo, pointlessless. _________________ Disprove the return of a potato (5)

| BTW! Anyone who buys dried parsley or basil wants to be properly sat down and forcibly made to have a chat with. Doesn't matter if you bought it yesterday or if it'd be 900 years past it BBE, it tastes of nothing and imparts zero flava. _________________ Disprove the return of a potato (5)

| I’m sure it’ll be fine. Sprinkle it on something and see. |

Cinnamon. It had damped out in the way you mention, but it still smelt of cinnamon. _________________ ' "Haven't got houses." Where do they live then?'

| Does anyone dose open a bag of crisps, leave them out overnight, and then eat them the following evening? I think that’s how crisps are best enjoyed. Used to annoy me as a child when my grandmother would come along and put a peg on the bag and pop them back in the cupboard. No matter how many times I explained there was a deliberate preparation process going on. |

| I have never done that.
I would be scared of spiders climbing into it, overnight. _________________ |
