Each week I've been doing the 15 minute thing, and I take a spin round the block as part of it if I'm feeling bold.

If everything goes according to plan, the For Sale board goes up on the house on March 5th, and this nightmare will start ending.

That probably gives you quite the wrong mental picture of the car as a sort of Fungus the Bogeyman conveyance.

Actually it's fairly shiny, it's just with it not having been moved much these last few weeks, there was green stuff on some of the window rims.

I boldly took the car round the block this morning. A high risk strategy on Christmas Eve, but it paid off and I got my car back into place. Fortune favours the brave.

I've just given my car a 15-minute idle while scraping the ice off it. Then I drove it back and forth about 1 yard.

But compared with everyone else's frosty cars, it looks like I went somewhere in it.

I was going to take the car round the block this morning, but I had to brush loads of snow off it, and while I was defogging it, the snow began to stick on the road, so in the end I just idled it for 20 minutes.
