I now have Android 14 on my newer phone.

Flushed with success, I installed F-Droid on my tablet so I can have access to under-the-counter apps like Hexadecimal Viewer.

I have installed Android x86 in a virtual machine on my (Windows) laptop.

It's working!

I am installing the authenticator app I have to use for work.

I tried installing a virtual machine operating system on my laptop, a few years ago but my laptop wasn't up to it and quickly ground to a halt. bawl

Falcon Crowdstrike and its ridiculous macho name kept killing off a monitoring process I was in charge of on one of our work servers, because it thought it was malware.

I see this incident as righteous punishment for them.
