Oh yes I was thinking about him the other day, and those little hog things he posted photos of which would show up on his porch. I remember him talking about his wife resembling Linda Ronstadt - that was the first time I'd seen young pictures of Ms. Ronstadt.

I completed my final compilation tape on July 5th 1987. I suspect that I did hear SOT, but as you anticipate, it wasn't for me.
So is that when we lose you and your ratings in the TOTP 1987 thread?

I did have a renewal of interest in early 1990 ('You make me feeeeeeeeeeel mighty real'), and another brief flush in 1998 ('Thissss could be a cassssse for Mulllllllder and Sculllllly'). So I'll be back.

It's just been on the radio that Jeremy Hardy's died.

He was one of my favourite comedians, I've got tapes of stuff he was in as far back as 1988,

He was brilliant on ISIHAC.
Very sad news.
57 - ridiculously young.

I was watching Keeping Up Appearances just the other day (along with Bread, which I hadn't seen in decades) and was wondering how old Clive Swift would be now. Then he died.
He'd only have been in his early 50s in the first series of Keeping Up Appearances.

Dr Legg has died on Eastenders.
The character, not the actor. The actor's fine.
But it's trending on Twitter.
