I recognise the one on the left, you see her on a number of political programmes on TV. But I don't recognise the one on the right. She reminds me of Bernard Bresslaw.

I wonder if it's necessary to ascribe to 'improvement' what could be more easily explained by the difference between a carefully selected video still and a studio headshot?
