I think I've got IE11 on it.

Well, it's done an update for IE11 anyway.

Still doing the updates. I don't think I've done anything approaching productivity. Only updates.

I'm currently running Android in a virtual machine on my laptop. It makes me feel like a proper computer expert. bowtie

The only problem is it can't get past the initial booting-up stage. I don't think my laptop's up to this kind of thing.

I finally managed to get it going but it was incredibly slow, so I've given up on it.

I've just discovered that I can make that toolbar at the bottom of my screen invisible and change the size of its icons, so it looks like that annoying bottom of the screen Icon row that Mac computers have.

If I do that, will it make my laptop as valuable as a Mac? Excited

I always move my taskbar to the top of the screen, cos that's where menus belong. Colbert

I've just had to use a command line program to burn an Iso onto a CDWR as the disc program no longer works.

I have installed Ubuntu in a virtual machine on my laptop.

And I've used it to access files which I'd backed up onto an external hard disc from my Linux PC, before the latter broke down.

That external disc was formatted ext4 so I couldn't get the files off it before.

But they've now been copied to my modern hard disc, thanks to the power of VirtualBox!

I've finally found out how to access the BIOS/UEFI of my ancient Windows tablets. Now I can install Linux and Android on them. I'm just waiting for an adaptor to arrive, so I can plug my USB pen drive into them. Excited
