One of the best songs ever written in any event.

It is over.
I feel the first side of the album is much stronger than the second, which gets too Prog and instrumental for my liking but it is a fascinating snapshot of the band in the transition from what they started out as being, to what they would become.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everyone else made of it.

I have given it 3 stars. I would give it 3.5 stars but we don't have a 3.5 stars option.

It's a classic three-star Nu-HotW LP.

Re: ELO - On the Third Day - 1973!
Should we move to a 10-option poll?

I wonder is that a reference to the 'is the 5-star rating system with half stars nothing more than a 10-star rating system that dare not speak its name' that' s flaccidly raging on Other Brand Forum?

I used to eat in the Mountain Grill with my Mum when I was little.
That would be a good Hawkwind album to drag out for this, lets be honest, getting a bit over crowded list of a 70s albums we've built up.

Yeah, I've had Captain Lockheed & The Starfighters lined up as a playlist for quite a while too.
