Driving Rain or Driving Pain?

For me, it's between this and New as to which is Macca's best solo album. Where New is highly produced and technological, this was knocked up in a couple of weeks and on analogue tape, to create a rougher, more spontaneous feel.

It was written in the wake of Linda's death and at the start of his relationship with Heather Mills and finds in him in a musical journey from the first relationship to the second.

The people on the Steve Hoffman keep declaring this to be the worst Macca album of all time.

Legendary Beatles critic said it was Macca's best album in decades.
