It is over.

That was much better than Billie Piper at the Gates of Liz Dawn. I've said it before, that Roger Waters basically only has two songs but he does do them with conviction and I find that compelling. It's not anywhere near as good as The Wall because Davie Gilmour was virtually absent.

Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it. Excited

It needs stating BTW and IMHO that Pipers and Finals represent the first and last of Pink Floyd's proper album output.

All of the rubbish Gilmour did after Cut is an entirely different kettle of anchovy's arseholes altogether.

Pipers is the Alpha and Cutters is the Omega.

Bob Holness apparently.

I thought it was Give My Regards To Broad Street.

Was it a film then? I thought it was some concept album Macca did when he was fed up with Wings, a sort of Wings².

It was indeed a film. From what I can remember, a thief steals the mastertape for Macca's next album and he has to track it and the thief down.

I wonder why the tape was stolen. Who did the thief hope to sell it to and what would the purchaser have done with it.

If you ask me, Macca probably set up the theft so he could sell the tape to himself, thus convincing himself how good it was.
