I bet there's about 6 CDs of Beatles cover on various Mojo magazines better than that.
And I was disapoint, I was expecting a complete train wreck, but it was mostly just too close to the original, only 70s and boring. The Bee gees are better than that.
In fact the Frankie Howerd/Gerorge Burns was the best stuff

I've never really understood how anyone is supposed to enjoy the song as anything other than whimsy - and not really a whimsy that meshes with any kind of overriding album concept.

What's the point of doing a version with high production values and strings that sounds less high production and less lushly orchestral than the original Let It Be version?
