He was doing a lot of this echoey guitar stuff from the Wall through the '80s.

Hence why "Give Blood" sounds like what it does.

Basically, there are about a dozen-or-so albums by the various people involved on this album or who were playing with each other from roughly 1979-1986 where they all blur into a smear of impending middle-aged multi-millionaire over-produced, pompous BYYYEEEEAAAAAYGE!!
