kc/s kHz, which is about 3 times more Hi-Fi than modern broadcasts
I have heard in the days before switching PSU and plasma TVs, and when they put more electricity up the wires AM wasn't the terrible thing was all know and love these days.
Don't get me started on the Troughline, a weirdly better than anything I've ever heard (in mono, the stereo-decoders are ghastly) but I need to change one of the switched on the front. Sometime.
