It's the two most charismatic presenters on British radio working together.

You can get an Amazon exclusive signed by, Neil Gaiman
And they will be releasing the first 5 serieses, Not that last one, which is odd. Still as it was terrible, and already forgotten, who cares.
In fact everything past series 2 is a bit ropey. I throw the neutomatic cup at them.

Interesting. The LP sounds like a selection from series 1 (where they hadn't quite got it together yet) and series 2 (where they had).
That Chas & Dave parody is one of my favourite Philip Pope efforts. Like the Housemartins one in the last ever episode of Radio Active, it somehow manages to be more like the original than the original.
The first one you posted is from series 1, so it has a lot of weak bits. It's nice to hear Anna Daptor's jingle though, probably the least heard of all of them.
I love Radio Active, I could keep this thread going for ever just by posting contextless quotes. Or we could have a discussion about their comedy paedophile character Mike Stand, who abruptly vanished from the penultimate series onwards apart from two namechecks in that series and the last one.

The LP was from 1983, which is after series 2, Series 3 was broadcast in late 83.
