I've watched a couple of his videos. He went to one ex-colliery village in the North East where there were rows and rows of empty terraced houses.

Oh, which one was that? I like to picture myself going round these derelict places with him, to offer comfort. That sounds like an awful lot of properties to be christened.

I know someone online who moved to a similar place. The drawback, they say, is that they're the only resident with a car, so their remaining neighbours are constantly asking them to fetch stuff from the nearest non-ghost town next time they go out.

At least you wouldn't have any problem parking!

I do fear he’d be camera shy in such a situation, but as my ex husband whispered the first time we sort of by accident did that in nightclub, ‘none of them matter, they’re nothing, the men are all jealous of me and the women are jealous of you’. Not in English, but basically. It’s amazing how fast an audience melts away. I suppose it would be my job to make this man comfortable enough that your camera was of no more consequence than the lamp. I’d be up to the challenge.

Oh I see why he's called "The Wandering Turnip". His real name is David Burnip - I guess he got called Turnip at school or something.

You missed your chance as he lived in London several years ago but now it seems lives in 90s Lesbian capital Hebden Bridge.
