I am currently half-watching the execrable, boot-licking Gert British Menu and (bearing in mind that this year's theme is 1,000,000 years of the BBC) I note:

- One chef is creating a starter inspired by Grange Hill.

- This dish comes served in a packed lunch box (like the posh/weird kids had when I was at school).

- It is titled "You Must Be Quackers" because it was centred around duck.

- This title seems to have no connection whatsoever to Grange Hill or the BBC.

- The dish did not feature anywhere in it a sausage on a fork - or even any reference to a sausage on a fork.

- Another chef is creating a starter inspired by and dedicated to The Office and vegetarian Ricky Gervais.

- It is centred around roast cauliflower in a sauce made with reduced chicken stock.
