The tracks are lengthy, and they're all covers of standards, and I thought it was going to be a bit boring and tacky, but it was decent quality, highly entertaining and I thoroughly enjoyed it. happy

I actually only became aware of Ms. Merman's existence as a result of the film Airplane.

So it turns out she did actually do promotion for this album, including on the Johnny Carson Show, and did live performances of Alexander's Ragtime Band.




In this slightly earlier interview she excitedly talks about the gr8 modern disco production on the upcoming album
