I've always thought this was the most interesting inner gatefold...



First up, you know they're not people who like to have their picture taken, but as things progress (and their egos mature)....

There's a weird kind of emotional nakedness and candidness in the photographs - like they all thought it was an awful idea and hated the very idea of it and crawled in their collective skins when they were being photographed - but, in the end, they did just look like a bunch of relatively quite cool '70s dudes, etc...

I think that "Jude" was a very successful and relatively famous potter - more successful and more highly regarded than Pink Floyd were at the time.

Also, David Gilmour is pictured in front of the famous Elfin Oak in Kensington Gardens.

Back then - and when I was a kid - it was a wreck and had been vandalised quite badly.

It was only in the '90s (or so) when it was restored and a much more serious iron fence was put around it.

I think it might've been tarted up when all the Diana memorial stuff was built (it's right by the Peter Pan themed playground by the Notting Hill Gate end).
