That is far too early for such a terrifying film.

The Saint is on TalkingPicturesTV, at 6 o'clock.
I wonder how it compares to Return of the Saint and if Simon Templar's as obnoxiously smug in it as he is in that show?

I'm intrigued by what they've got on at 9pm.
I don't think I've ever seen that one before.

Of The Witches, the Radio Times says it stars Clint Eastwood as a husband battling comic-strip characters for the love of his wife.

Well, it seems to be a Hammer portmanteau film where the directors are among the gr8est Italian directors of all time.
Antonioni, Pasolini, De Sica...
It sounds completely bizarre.

Isn't it The Joan Fontaine film about the teacher? I feel like The Radio Times has completely made up the plot description.Nightjar wrote:Well, it seems to be a Hammer portmanteau film where the directors are among the gr8est Italian directors of all time.

It's like, for once in a long long time (perhaps even ever) Legend are showing back-to-back, wall-to-wall gr8 horror and sci-fi films and telly from 6:50pm onwards.
Even Pacific Heights is quite watchable.

It's in black and white. So, not at all like Return of the Saint.

So far, he's being smug but not obnoxious.

And Roger Moore's not trying to sound like Cary Grant, like Ian Ogilvy does.
