I knew that from reading books about people shooting them in India.

He was only 20 when he recorded his 13th studio album - the first album where he wrote (along with Syreeta Wright) all of his own songs and (I'm pretty sure) played virtually all of the instruments himself.

Puts things in perspective dunnit. sad yes

Demi Lovato went back to being called a "she" from a "they" a few months ago. I can't keep up.

The big gates from the original King Kong movie were also used in [1]Gone With the Wind[/i] where they were set fire to. gasp

I've eaten loads of sprouted potatoes.

It's never done me any harm at all.

I know that. bowtie

The leaves of the potato plant are also really toxic.

The whole 'don't eat the green bits on a potato' isn't a legendary myth like Unicorns and QPR ebing in the 1st Division once, but real - all too real! sad yes

In fact, the potato - like all nightshades - is poisonous in some way or another.

The potato, the aubergine, the pepper, the flongelschlurgen are all related to the deadly Michael Knightshade.

Be afraid - be very afraid!

Of a half man-half potato.

Or a potato.

When I was a kid and we lived in Whales we had a massive vegetable garden and one night the cows broke into it from the next farm and they trampled o'er everything and ate all of the nice brassicas and root vegetables and everything.

The only thing that was conspicuously left were the potato abovegroundage bits.

The farmer came by next day to apologise and told us that if the cows had eaten them they'd all be dead.

Clever cows.

I always just dig any sprouted bits out with the potato peeler, and disdainfully slice off the green bits, discarding both.

The potato, the aubergine, the pepper...

You missed out their closest relative, the tomato.

Each year when my potato plants had stopped making potatoes, and flowered, when the flowers finished there'd be little green tomato-like fruits on them, containing the potato seeds. THESE FRUITS ARE VERY POISONOUS!

Switzerland's flag is officially square - the only square national flag in the world.

I went there in 2004 and never even noticed. doh

Apparently D*nald Tr*mp used "Electric Avenue" in some of his advertisements in 2020.

Somewhat unsurprisingly, Eddy Grant sued.
