Very nice chord change at the chorus bit.

I think that this is an album to play when you're painting skirting boards at 3am when you're all alone and feeling a bit melancholy.

If Only they had got Tom and Crystal to have played the leads in the movie !!
Who was it again?
Nastassja Kinski and Rowan Atkinson?

It is over.
It was relentlessly boring.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

Re: Tom Waits & Crystal Gayle - One From The Heart (1982)
Well, it's not exactly the most gripping rollercoaster of an album/OST, but in may respects it's perfect.
The initial pairing of Waits and Gayle is a bit jarring, but as the record progresses it becomes gloomily absorbing in a kind of self-contained reverie-y sort of way.
In almost all respects it was an appalling choice for a joint commentary, but in a more profound sense it was - and is - a very lovely and subtly ambitious masterpiece.
