From what I understand, Farmfoods sells a lot of similar stuff to Heron Foods.

I usually try and pick a hotel near a big superstore, so I have access to hotel foodstuffs like satsumas, pitta breads, Babybels, tuna salad lunches and rice pouches.
I heat the rice pouches up by putting them in a bowl and pouring boiling water on

How come the Fat Old Hairy Gaye Bikers on Acid are telly cooks?
From my initial researches it appears that neither of them has a background in catering of cheffery at all.

Both Myers and King have a background in TV and film production. Myers is a professional make-up artist, specialising in prosthetics, while King served as locations manager on numerous productions including the Harry Potter films and Byker Grove.

When did paper scissors stone become rock paper scissors? Or was it just me and the people I know/knew who referred to it as the former?

I think 'rock paper scissors' is the American version.

I guessed as much, but it seems to be prominently used here now too. I think the internet and social media has standardised some of these sayings and terms from overseas.

I hate Americanisms.
Except the cool ones that I use.

Speaking of American things. There is a Taco Bell near this hotel, I thought about buying a taco. What is that meat in them though, is it just generic mince?

I've never been to a Taco Bell.

I think it's beef, unless you go Veggie, Hmm..

Just seems weird putting a load of hot mince in a wrap.

In Mexican cuisine the ground red meat is usually beef.
A taco is usually a harder shell, crispy bread though.
A soft tortilla wheat or corn wrap is usually used for burritos or enchiladas with all beans and chicken and peppers and guacamole and salad and 'cilantro' and etcetera...

That's what my American acquaintances say
I thought the mention of Central/South American cuisine would encourage you to contribute
Sadly though, the question is now academic, as I have moved to a different hotel, which only has a McDonalds nearby, and a big Waitrose.
