EE charged me £10.50 for a 30-minute phone call yesterday. Their standard rate is 35p/min, like it's 1992 or something.

They expect you to buy bundles, but I refuse to do that because I make very few calls.

I've ordered another 1p mobile SIM, and will port my number away from EE as swiftly as I took it there in the first place.

Smarty now do 5G. Which means, if I had a 5G phone, I'd be able to use 5G on it. cheer

I don't know whether my phones do 5G or not.

I don't care really, cos 4G is more than good enough. It's better than the broadband here at Casa Mis Padres for a start.

I got my new 1pmobile SIM btw. But I still have 9 gig of data allowance left on the EE SIM to use up.

I used up 6 gig of the data, and donated the last £3 of my credit to the RNLI.

And now the transfer to 1pmobile is in progress!

I found my mobile phone case, that I lost in my storage unit weeks ago.

It could have been in any of 200 boxes, so searching for it would have been hopeless.

But I was re-stacking a pile of boxes today, and I just came upon it in a box that contained a circular saw.

The 4G reception in this hotel is abysmal. I've had to resort to the Premier Inn free wi-fi, which is rubbish.

This is one of the poshest parts of Glasgow too, I would expect better tbh.

Is it possible for you to try dropping down to 3G? I've found that can be faster, at times, than 4G because fewer people use it.

I've had to spend precious money on the Premier inn Ultimate Wi-fi just to get by.

It is quite good so far though.
