That was a very solid episode, from start to finish, with highlights by the Bangles, the Cure, Holly Johnson, Transvision Vamp and the Beat Masters.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everyone else made of it.

I know four.
I bet the other 3 are Pictures of You, Friday I'm In Love and Fascination Street

I only like the novelty pop singles The Cure put out.
Oh, and that one about where the animals die.
Maybe we could do a Cure LP in the Album running forum?

By Spider-Man do you mean Lullaby? Cos that only makes 3, not 4.

I'm up for that, I love JW. I was the only person in our 6th form Cure fan clique who thought it was good.

Having had a quick check on YouTube, it turns out I meant The Caterpillar. Therefore, the ones I knew I knew were The Love Cats, The Caterpillar, Friday I'm in Love, and that the one I knew but didn't think I did was Lullaby.Fangirl Three wrote:The Call of the Wendigo wrote:Love Cats, Spider-Man and Friday I'm in Love.Fangirl Three wrote:The Call of the Wendigo wrote:That means I was mistaken in thinking I only know three Cure songs.

Well, I must apologise for misjudging you, because The Lovecats and The Caterpillar are ace.

"Sometimes I feel like throwing my hands up in the air..." - You Got the Love by The Source featuring Candi Staton - or Florence and the Machine, depending on your vintage.

I used to get Inner City and the Intercity 125 mixed up.

The Call of the Wendigo wrote:"Holly Jonstone" - Americanos.
It's usually Anthea Turner who does this - "Lisa Stanfield" being the most recent.

Thank you, Buttertubs. It was the Candi Staton/Source one I was thinking of.Butterfield wrote:The Call of the Wendigo wrote:Who was the song I'm thinking of by? Over the years whenever I've thought of the singer of Midnight Oil I've always thought of Angry Anderson of Kylie & Jason fame. I can kind of see why.
