You could imagine The Who having a go at this at their most 1967.

One of those tracks off The Who Sell Out that no one remember.

Beechwood Park

Sounds a bit more Psychedelic than whimsical. Kinda.

I def. prefer the songs written by Chris White to those written by Rod Argent.

As painfully period as this is, it's still better than the first couple.

6: Hung Up On A Dream

I thought I knew this one judging how familiar the title was, obviously not.

type

Because the band split before the album was released, they never performed any of the songs onstage. However, due to the surprise success of "Time of the Season", several "fake" versions of the Zombies were created by unscrupulous promoters in 1969 to cash in on public demand to see and hear the band

With the richer music arrangement burying the vocal harmonies, I'm enjoying this a lot more than I though I was going to.

I'm also going to have a bit of a break before I attempt side 2.

I'm back in!

Changes.

Intro sounds like Grand Vizar's Garden Party.

You could imagine someone like the Incredible String Band doing something like this, but they'd arrange it much much better.

Piano.

This sounds like a different group.

Is that Les Dawson on the old Joanna?

I think this is the one with the bass player singing.

That one was alright, but not GR8.

Comedy end of song.

Forgettable.

Last one! THE FAMOUS ONE!

Time of the Season

Seems much better produced, still very 60s. Well, it was the 60s wasn't it?
