It is over.
I suppose he deserved some credit for trying to keep up with the times but it's hard to avoid feeling it was all a triumph of style over substance, except there wasn't any actual triumph.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

Wow, what a really very awful album.
Amazingly, I do believe that it's better than Primitive Cool.
