I noticed whilst driving past on the M1 earlier that Meadowhall has currently got a giant big wheel/ferris wheel in its vicinity!

I wonder if it's the same one that used to be in the city centre? I know it was in the habit of touring the country.

Oh dear, don't look at the football score.
There's still another 20+ minutes to go.

Re: The Sheffieldshire thread
I wonder why the left-hand and right-hand lists have some of the instruments (for which they will pay CASH) in a different order?

Re: The Sheffieldshire thread
Here's my theory:
The sign on the right is newer than the one on the left and, in the period between their relative creations, Mr. Attercliffe realised that guitars were more desirable than trumpets and that flutes and violins were a complete dead loss.
Ergo: the editing and reordering of the list.

Re: The Sheffieldshire thread
It's all indoor arenas and skating rinks and English Institutes of Sport, round there, now.

God dammit. I had loaded up my car with cigarette coupons, Green Shield stamp books. Rolex and Omega watches, swords, old pistols, trumpets, guitars, banjos, flutes, violins, clarinets, drum sets, air pistols, rifles, cycles, shotguns, tents, golf clubs, radios, mics, verniers, and electric motors. I was going to make a pile of CASH.

Re: The Sheffieldshire thread
I narrowly escaped going to Sheffield yesterday - I nearly turned onto the A61 northbound instead of the A617 eastbound.
