Well, on this balmy and sultry night, I enjoyed that record quite a bit.
Perhaps, considering various shortcomings, I enjoyed it more than I should've'd.
I think some of my famed cool objectivity might've'd neglected me.
A glass or two of cold white wine will do that.
All said however, it was fun.
At its weakest it was a bit plodding or uninspired or unoriginal or conspicuously dominated by the more illustrious figures behind the scenes, but at its best it was really likeable and great fun and even instilled in me the feeling that I might want to listen to it again.
