Troubadour or truly dour?
Re: J.J. Cale - Troubadour (1976)
Track 6: Cocaine
The famous one!
Sounds identical to the Eric Clapton original.
Only with weaker vocals.

The main riff does sound like a Cream one dosn't it?

Sounds like Roy Orbison or something. The song, not the vocals.

Just in general, from then they had just invented the riff and any two lower strings thing that sounded passable would be new and exciting.

Guitars too low in the mix, it needs to cut through more.

THis is what Dire Straits sounds like to people who hate Dire Straits.
