You're not from the Midlands though, remember.
Thunder sounds like this in somewhere, like, say Sutton Coldfield.
I think they're from Hollywood.
South Birmingham.
Over the border in Worcestershire, actually.

It is over.
That was a very accomplished and confident album, filled with proper playing and catchy tunes.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

I enjoyed that. It did feel a bit flat after the initial epic two hits but carried on nicely throughout, with some pleasant production. I can see why Toni Blaxploitationburn was taken in by them straight away.

Re: Duran Duran – Duran Duran (1981)
I enjoyed that.
There was a strong sameyness throughout (Le Blob's vocals, the coldly metallic sound and the slightly overbearing and archly posturing technical playing), but that aside it was a good-value ride at the funfair of neo-synth pop that would come to donimate the next 5+ years...
Funf sterne von mir.

Like, don't ever even try to listen to and score the only album to ever get ★★★★★ across the board.

Didn't City Boy's album get 5 stars from all who heard it?
I think The Motors' might have, as well.

Just the two of us though.
SFS was a threefer.
ergo: SF Sorrow > City Boy.
