One of my favourite neighbours is moving out today. She’s lived here for years and has never really been happy - shortly after moving in her husband left her, then her daughter became disabled and went off to a home, then she got banned for drink driving and had to spend a few weeks in prison. So now she’s moving to the countryside with her son and an Uber driver she’s fallen in love with. I’m very sorry to see her go. I’ll miss our shared cider and cigarette on the front steps of an evening.

Air B&B situation out of control. I have been woken up by the most dreadful noises. There’s a couple ****ing on the landing. They looked up, and I said ‘oh, don’t let me disturb you’, and so they just carried on. I am quite shocked. I just shut the door, feeling like I’d intruded. It’s still going on now.
