It's singer Phyllis Nelson of Move Closer "fame". I can't quite remember what this one was about though, other than it was supposed to be used when no one replied to a previous post or something - according to Nightjar.

Re: Smileys on this forum
I think my logic was that Phyllis was supposed to be a kind of 'colbert', but a colbert that had massive 'electric shock bog-brush hair'.
So like, it was saying, "hey, don't try and ignore me when I'm stood here with all this conspicuous hair on!".

Re: Smileys on this forum
I just thought Colbert was a brasserie. How did it become an internet word? Is there a geektastic explanation for that which would make perfect sense as soon as it was said? Like, maybe Colbert is the personification of a pompous French waiter, waiting for an answer to his outrageousness?
I will always think of one in particular, who was extremely snotty from the off, full of unhelpful suggestions, and could hardly stop himself from manhandling me out into the gutters of Aix en Provence when I ordered a Shiraz* with a chicken salad. He’d be a perfect Colbert.
*After the volley of attitude I did have fun with him, by asking if they had one from America.

I was flicking through the radio stations on my Freeview TV earlier this evening, just 3 or so hours after posting that, and guess which song was on Smooth Radio!

Re: Smileys on this forum
From Butters' list I would support the following being removed from the NHOTW smiley selection:
:troll:
Conversely I would be very annoyed if Peak Frean and Kenpower were removed.

That's fair enough. I think if at least one person wants a particular nominated-for-deletion smiley kept, it should be.

Isn't it a bit rude for our polite forum?

Re: Smileys on this forum
I always feel like this should be a smiley, even though I don't know mood what it would represent.
