This has always seemed a bit Alf Garnett to me.

It's one of those 'hating on the working classes' songs.

Cosey was the most working class out of the band.

Re: Throbbing Gristle - 20 Jazz Funk Greats
"I am one of the injured
A tear blurs flesh
Dissolving
Like an injured dog
Like wasted limbs
Get smaller
Pain is the stimulus of pain
But then of course nothing is cured
This is the world now
Move a fin and the world turns
Sit in a chair and pictures change
Try to eat us
And get trapped
Or injured
Just"

Re: Throbbing Gristle - 20 Jazz Funk Greats
It is over.
Although, in truth, it rarely got started.
The first track of Side 2 was the only thing of interest on it.
All else was futile.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everyone else made of it.

Heathen Earth is their best album by a fair old long chalk.

It's over.
It's been a while since I've listen to this, I think I still prefer D.o.A. The Third And Final Report, but compared to some of the live albums, it seems like areally relative easy listening/light entry point into the band's real material. ( )
I'm still keeping the ★★★★★ rating.
