It is over.
It was very competent but lacked surprises and imagination.

Well, a couple of aimless bits of filler aside, that's a really good album.
The opening two tracks, "Fortunate Son" and the final, epic, era-defining number frame it ultimately as a really excellent album.
Also, John Fogerty has such a brilliant and unique singing style.
Gruff, gritty and at once soaring and soulful.
