Did the Edge ever do an album called "Ike Turner"?

Nightjar wrote:Melody ripped off of Joni Mitchell of course.
According to co-writer Dick Wagner, the song's musical riff and vocal melody were developed several years earlier during his tenure with the late-1960s Michigan-based band the Frost, but Wagner had never liked his lyrics and the song was never recorded. He played the riff for Cooper, and the two developed new lyrics for the eventual Welcome to My Nightmare recording.[5]

Tina really delivers.
The version of "Only Women Bleed" is proper good.
And darkly poignant.
Even more so than I remembered.

Bit Parliament, but a bit lacking NRG.

Re: Ike Turner - The Edge (1980)
Was side 1 a hold over from 1977 and this is the new stuff he didn't have a full album, so he padded it out with the Tina stuff?

If I find side 2 better than side 1 I need to have a word with myself.
